Dr. Yvette L. Porter has been involved in ministry all of her life. God was preparing her for the responsibility of carrying out God's vision for his people with her husband, and for enriching the lives of his people through her special gifts.

A native of New York City, Yvette and her family moved to Teaneck, NJ when she was a teen and received her early spiritual nurturing while attending Varick Memorial A.M.E Zion Church. After moving to Maryland to attend Morgan State University, Yvette was nurtured and blossomed in her spiritual call at Kingdom Worship Center in Towson, MD under the leadership of Bishop Ralph L. Dennis and Lady Deborah S. Dennis. She served this ministry for over twenty years in various capacities including: Member of the Pastor’s Aid, President of the Choir, Chairperson of the Trustee Board, CFO, Deacon and Elder-Designate.

Yvette’s primary gifting is Administration. She has been divinely called to assist with church government and order. As a result, she has often assisted Pastors with establishing foundational order in their churches. She has a special passion for seeing God’s people empowered, living this life in victory, taking dominion and extending the Kingdom of God. Consequently, Yvette is a General Partner and Co-Founder of Workman and Brown Church Financial Services. Yvette’s spiritual gifting has also been reflected in her secular career path within corporate America, the result of which has allowed her to live and work in states across the United States and abroad.

Lady Yvette Porter shares in ministry with her husband, Bishop Sterling V. Porter, III, the Set Gift of Kingdom Life Cathedral, K.A.C.W.M. Together they serve that congregation which is located in Ranson, West Virginia. This ministry is serious about their mission to share the gospel to all mankind, Fulfill God’s Purpose, and Extend His Kingdom. Together, Bishop and Lady Porter are Birthing A People of Purpose, Passion and Power that are Committed to God, Celebrating one another, and Cultivating their community.

With Spirit-filled wisdom and power, Dr. Yvette Porter speaks words of encouragement and life to everyone she encounters. Her favorite scripture is, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”; St. John 10:10.
